A hybrid running and strength program

This program operates in 4-week cycles, strategically designed to elevate your running performance, enhance work capacity, and build strength, ultimately preparing you to achieve your personal best in a half or full marathon.

You will be delivered running and weightlifting workouts together in a master schedule, accompanied by prehab sessions.

Perfect for the person who:

  • Runs their “easy” or Z2 runs at a ~10-12 min/mi pace (beg.) or 9-10 min/mi (intermed.)
  • Runs ~9-13 miles per week (beg.) or 13-17 mi/wk (intermed.)
  • Has previous weightlifting experience

Time requirement

  • 6 days a week
  • Weekdays: Maximum of 1 hour per session
  • Weekends: Up to 2.5 hours per session
  • Weekly breakdown:
    • Four runs
    • Two strength sessions
    • Six short run prehab sessions

  • Bands


  • Running programming and the master schedule are delivered via TrainingPeaks.
  • Strength training programs are provided through TrainHeroic.
  • Community platform accessed through Mighty Networks
